Most of us have probably experienced the feeling of forgetting what happened in the episode or movie you’re watching after having paused it for a few minutes, wouldn’t it be great if Kodi could automatically rewind a few seconds to refresh your memory after unpausing?

It’s actually possible to set Kodi to automatically rewind a few seconds after unpausing a title, through the use of the Unpause Jumpback addon. We’re now going to walk you through configuring the Unpause Jumpback addon so that you’ll never forget what happened just before pausing again.

Required: Kodi 16.1 Jarvis or Below

Step 1: Navigate to the Settings tab under the SYSTEM menu.

Step 2: Select the Add-ons tab on the vertical menu bar.

Step 3: Click on the Install from repository function.

Step 4: Choose the Kodi Add-on repository option.

Step 5: Select the Services category.

Step 6: Select the Unpause Jumpack addon.

Step 7: Click on the Install button, then wait a few seconds for the Kodi addon to install.

Step 8: Once again, click on the Unpause Jumpback addon.

Step 9: Click on the Configure button.

Step 10: Press your right cursor until you’ve set the Jump seconds to 15.00 or your desired time.

Step 11: Click on the OK button at the bottom of the window, before returning to the Kodi homescreen.

Hopefully this will ensure that you’ll never forget what’s going on after taking a bathroom or snack break again.
