Personalize the SALTS Addon Experience with Trakt.tv (16.1 Jarvis or Below)

There’s this really great add-on out there called Stream All the Sources or SALTS for short, but did you know that you can make it even greater by configuring it to personalize your experience based on content curation made possible by Trakt? It will definitely make your SALTS Kodi addon experience more like Netflix like.

If you’re a SALTS user, it’s probably a good idea to link it up to your Trakt account (it’s free) so that you can take advantage of all the cool stuff this Kodi add-on has to offer under it’s hood. It will act as a smart content curation system, learning based on what you’ve already watched, to know what to recommend you watch in the future.

Required: Trakt.tv Account and Stream All The Sources on Kodi 16.1 Jarvis or Below

Trakt will keep track of what you’ve watched, and learn what type of stuff you like. This allows for a more personalized experience when used in conjunction with the Stream All The Sources (or SALTS) addon for Kodi.

Step 1: Navigate to the Add-ons tab under the VIDEOS menu.

Step 2: Launch the Stream All The Sources addon for Kodi.

Step 3: Select the Settings menu.

Step 4: Click on the Authorize SALTS to access my trakt.tv account function.

Step 5: Follow the on-screen instructions in order to authorize SALTS to access your Trakt account, it can be done from the web browser on your computer or mobile device.

Step 6: You’re done! Once complete, you’ll see a small Trakt Authorization Complete message displayed quickly at the bottom corner of your screen. You can now return to your Kodi home screen.

Trakt is now setup to interface with your Stream All The Sources (or SALTS) Kodi addon, the more you use it, the more it will populate the addon with content relevent to you personally.
