Install OSMC to the Raspberry Pi, Vero, and Apple TV 1
OSMC is an embedded, self updating Kodi-centric Linux distribution that provides the functionality necessary to run Kodi on the Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi 2, Vero (their flagship device) and as of recently the first generation Apple TV. It is basically Kodi, but running as an operating system for the device at the same time.
OSMC is known as the easiest method of installing the latest version of Kodi to the Raspberry Pi, and now the first generation Apple TV as well. It is written by none other than Sam Nazarko who has been instrumental in bringing Kodi support to the Raspberry Pi since it was first released.
Required: SD Card or USB Thumb Drive
Instructions: Just download the Installer below and follow the on-screen procedure to create a SD Card or USB Thumb Drive installer for your device. If you’re using a USB Thumb Drive to install to the Raspberry Pi, you’ll still need to have an SD Card already in the device as well.
Congratulations! You should now finally have that Raspberry Pi working the way it should, or perhaps you managed to bring new life to that first generation Apple TV that you’ve had sitting around collecting dust.
