Here’s the scenario: you heard about Kodi from a friend/neighbour/coworker/relative but can’t seem to figure out how to set it up. There are too many Kodi addon guides on the net and none seem to make sense. This is why we’re here to help you, this is the most comprehensive guide you’ll find on the topic of installing the Kodi Media Center with all the best Kodi addons. The best part: it’s all free, and it’ll take less than ten minutes from the beginning to the end. This Kodi setup guide was made with the technologically illiterate in mind, so don’t be afraid, it’s easy!
Before we get started, we’ll quickly explain how the Kodi ecosystem works. Kodi itself is an open source media player software developed by the XBMC Foundation, an American non-profit foundation. It can do many things, but it seems that at least unofficially, the most popular use of Kodi lies with Kodi addons. That’s where we come into play, we’re the original source for the best unofficial Kodi addons. In the guide below, we’re first going to walk you through installing Kodi itself, and then how to automatically configure a selection of the most popular Kodi addons.
Please take your time, you’ll find each and every step of the Kodi installation process detailed as follows. Please remember that this is the unofficial use of the Kodi media center, and by no means its developers intended purpose!
Part 1 Download Kodi
All you have to do in this step is download the Kodi installer below and then install the same way you would any other app.
