    New Hardware Discussion Forums

I'm very pleased to announce the launch of a new forum dedicated specifically to cordcutting and hardware devices, where you'll be able to find the best hardware support for all your Kodi-compatible technology. We've now closed our existing hardware forums, and recommend that all of our users join the new forums in order to continue to get the best support for their hardware devices.

This new site offers a familiar forum interface and you'll definitely see many of the friendly faces from here over there as well. There are forum sections for virtually all Kodi-compatible hardware devices and more. Right now it's just starting out, but every site starts somewhere. Please join and help get it populated with information and discussion!

Hopefully everyone enjoys it just as much as they do here! Thank you again for your continuous support.

Developer Appreciation, Forum Etiquette and Buffering Tips

It seems that there have been a number of individuals engaging in abusive behavior within our discussion forums. This type of abuse will not be tolerated. If you want to complain, keep it constructive or respectful, but don't yell at a developer and don't ever insult or question the developer's authority within his or her own forum.

Addon developers do what they do as a hobby, they do it to share their knowledge and coding experience, they do it to practice and fine tune their coding skills. They don't benefit from all the profiteers out there selling preprogrammed Kodi devices, and they don't owe anyone anything. If you don't like it, then post about it in a respectful manner and hopefully whatever issue there is can be resolved.

Those of you who engage in any type of abusive behavior will be banned from the forum, it might be temporary and it might be permanent, proceed with caution to avoid causing more damage to our community!

Buffering has absolutely nothing to do with addons, nor does it really have anything to do with Kodi at all. Those who say it does have no idea how Kodi or addons work, and those who claim to have tested links in different addons are simply experiencing coincidental results, there is nothing in the coding of any addon that affects video playback once it commences.

That being said, let's all try to be a bit more positive and supportive of developers who put in hundreds of hours a month into providing us with free entertainment, try to thank them once in a while for what they do, it will make a huge difference in the long run.
