injunctions were imposed on the UK's biggest ISPs. You could sign up with a smaller independent UK ISP like Zen or Eclipse, use a VPN, or just go on hunt for a different custom URL.

The way we connect to the internet is our problem

    Incorrect mate.

The addon struggles with https redirects and all the new ones use that.

It's worked for the last couple of years no problem, as ISP's block one another one appears - but as yet not one has replaced the now defunct VP6.icefilms or whatever it was.

The information, I gave was not incorrect !!

How is this the developers problem?

I'm fully aware of the problems of HTTPS & SSL. Use a VPN or get a different ISP

I won't shout this in case the cyber spies are listening but the ipv6 URL still works for me ( and my bro in law) on t***t***k. Not in browser but in the addon. Don't know why and don't care.

Addons have nothing to do with http vs https, it's all on Kodi's shoulders to handle that stuff.. we just pass it links

I'm not 100% but i think Krypton was planned to be able to use https links, now that koying has left i'm not sure if it is still in the plan.

It's more to do with the version of python that comes with the platform that you are running Kodi on

With Jarvis and earlier versions, Windows and maybe others (Android?) are running Python 2.6, other platforms use Python 2.7 which supports https links, 2.6 does not

With Krypton they have bumped python on all platforms to be using 2.7

I don't believe this has anything to do with Koying, the change is already done and you can try out the Krypton betas right now to try

Edit - this is not specifically https links, but more the type of ssl being used
